Heart Church Production Manager

We are seeking to appoint a Production Manager to head up all production-related operations at Heart Church. The successful candidate will outwork the vision of Heart Church, specifically in relation to sound, lighting and stage management.

Working as part of a broader creative team, the role will include developing and leading a production team of volunteers. It will involve managing production requirements and equipment across two church venues involving midweek and Sunday events.

The manager will be required to source and arrange for the purchase, delivery and installation of new equipment. They will be required to develop documents for training, operating equipment, risk assessments and skills assessments.

The role also includes overseeing and outworking all production-related Health and Safety requirements, including best practices for sound, lighting and set-up/set-down of equipment, across two sites.

The ideal candidate will have experience in managing and operating production equipment and building teams. They will also be able to design and deliver training to volunteer teams involved on a weekly basis. We are looking for someone with strong communication skills who can train and develop leaders, co-ordinate large teams of volunteers, inspire growth and bring about change.

This is a full-time role working Sunday to Thursday. There is an occupational requirement that the person appointed is a committed Christian and will be an active part of our church family.
